Kehinde Adegbodu, the twin brother of the late Tawio Adegbodu, has continued to share his final hours with his twin brother Taiwo, before his death.

As previously reported by eelive.ng, the 46-year-old singer passed away in the early hours of March 1, 2026, after battling an unusual illness for several weeks.

In a video that surfaced on social media, Kehinde disclosed that his brother was very active just hours before his collapse.

The surviving twin narrated how his late twin had passed on a typical Saturday, revealing that they had prayed as usual before parting ways for the evening.

He said around 10 pm, he went to Taiwo’s room to remind him about the next day’s church service.

“We used to have our night prayer at 9 pm every day. We prayed together at 9 pm on Saturday, and everyone went to bed,” he said.

“At about 10 pm, I went to Taiwo’s room to tell him that the church service was at 10 am the next day. He was playing games on his phone and he replied that he would sleep early.”

Kehinde revealed that just before 11pm, he heard a knock at his door. It was Taiwo, complaining of sharp chest pain.

The singer said he insisted they go to the hospital, which was about five minutes from their home.

Thinking it was a routine visit, the brothers went to the hospital together, never anticipating that Taiwo would not return.

Kehinde’s recount comes days after he took to his Facebook page to pen down an emotional tribute for his late twin, Taiwo, also reflecting on the loss of his brother and music partner.
