Here’s a list of Top Grossing Movies Of Last Weekend

Last weekend (Friday, October 2, 2020, to Sunday, October 4), cinemas across Nigeria experienced a throng of movie enthusiasts, who trooped out in thousands to see some newly-released movies.

Going by data which was jointly-released by National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB), Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN), and Comscore, movie lovers in Nigeria over the weekend, paid N27 million in total to see 14 movies in the cinemas.

Topping the list is Fate of Alakada: The Party Planner. The movie produced by filmmaker Toyin Abraham, grossed over N17 million with 11,737 admissions across the country.

Sitting at the second is Mulan, a Disney film, that grossed over N2 million with 1,677 admissions. Following by Tenet, a FilmOne movie that also grossed more than N2 million with 1,473 admissions.
