
40 years ago, the father of legendary Portuguese football player, Cristiano Ronaldo named him after the former President of the United States of America and Hollywood actor, Ronald Reagan.
According to reports gathered, the late father of the 40-year-old Portuguese football player, Cristiano Ronaldo, he was a fan of Ronald Reagan and had aspirations of visiting the White House in America.

Interesting, his son, Ronaldo has been able to achieve this dream and aspiration, although, it took almost half of a century to attain this goal. Earlier this week, the five-times Ballon D’Or winner visited the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump alongside his partner, Georgina Rodriguez.
Ronaldo paid the president a courtesy visit ahead of the coming 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament that will be co-hosted among United States of America, Canada and Mexico.

The 40-year-old Al Nassr forward has disclosed that the 2026 World Cup tournament will be his final competition with the Portuguese national team. He will be featuring in his 6th major World Cup tournament with the Portuguese national team with the intention of winning the World Cup for the first time in his career.
