His words: The song was made in February. It was going to be a joint with my friends. I was proud of the song after recording it. I composed everything and then there was COVID; I was like I couldn’t drop the song.

“…I saw like some guys when I went to Eko Atlantic for a video shoot, and they packed like 30 range rovers to come and do a video and I was like in this same Lagos that some people are suffering? Then I started screaming “money no dey Lagos”, and I posted the video on my page it.

“…Then I got home and after two weeks, we shot the video even before the #EndSARS protest, it looked like God planned and arranged everything.”

When asked what has been his biggest drive, Zlatan explained: “I just feel like I have seen a lot of people go up and come down, so that’s a reason for me to always be on my toe. I know where I come from…I came from a place where there was nothing like ATM, we had rough roads; most of my peers what we do then was borehole, cut grass, do bricklayer, just to get money to eat, go to game centers to go bet with N50 making N150, N200.”
