How I got into Nollywood – Patience Ozokwor
Nollywood veteran Patience Ozokwor revealed how her friends practically pushed her into the film industry.
The 62-year-old actress said on Instagram that comedian Chika Okpala and actor Pete Eneh dragged her into the industry. Sharing a throwback picture, Ozokwor said she starred in radio dramas and stage plays before Nollywood.
“Early years in Nollywood, eyes firmly on the goal,” she posted. “I was introduced to Nollywood by chief Zebrudaya (Chile Okpala) and Pete Eneh (may God continue to rest his soul).
Ozokwor wrote, “They practically dragged me into Nollywood (story for another day). Before then I was doing radio drama and stage play”.
