Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has shared one is his deepest regrets on how he lost his true soulmate.
The actor made this revelation during a discussion with Jay On Live podcast. Egbuson noted that his relentless pursuit of career success and financial stability ultimately drove her away.
He admitted there was no major conflict or betrayal in their relationship as all she truly wanted was his presence and emotional availability.

At the time, he prioritised providing materially, convinced that “putting food on the table” and building a secure future was the ultimate way to show love. He assumed she would understand his frequent absences and long hours dedicated to work but all was wrong.
Egbuson has since gained valuable perspective and now recognizes the importance of being emotionally present, listening actively, remembering the little details, showing genuine interest in her day-to-day life, and making time despite a busy schedule.
Timini also cautioned that when a man brings only money to a relationship, it can attract the wrong partners or even shift a good one’s expectations toward materialism alone. “If all you can bring to a relationship is money, then you’re a very shallow man,” he stated bluntly.
