Juliana Olayode, the Nollywood actress, popularly known as Toyo Baby, has raised an alarm over the growing influence of occult practices disguised as harmless online trends.

In a video shared on her Instagram page, Olayode recounted a chilling experience that nearly drew her into spiritual danger.

She said she was browsing her phone when she clicked on an ad that asked, “Have you ever broken a bone before?” Almost immediately, she felt an overwhelming spiritual disturbance and was compelled to shut the link.

That moment, I knew something was wrong spiritually. It felt like a trap,” she said.

The actress warned that many popular online prompts such as questions about past lives, tarot readings, or spiritual rituals, may serve as subtle gateways to the occult.

Witchcraft is everywhere,” she stressed. “It often disguises itself as curiosity, enlightenment, or fun. Be careful what you consume.”

Olayode cautioned against engaging with content that involves burning incense, tarot cards, certain movies, or music, saying they may unknowingly expose people to dark spiritual forces. She emphasised the importance of guarding one’s mind and spirit, noting that exposure doesn’t always require deliberate intent.

You don’t have to click a link to be initiated. It could happen through a song, a movie, a book, or even a store you casually visited with a friend,” she said.

In her passionate message, the actress listed signs she believes may point to spiritual infiltration, including nightmares, anxiety, strange voices, or a constant sense of fear. She also criticised the use of incense and other “cleansing” rituals, calling them deceptive tools of the enemy.

Olayode urged her followers to remain spiritually vigilant, prayerful, and discerning.

The enemy is not sleeping. He’s working subtly, and a lot of money is being pumped into pushing these spiritual agendas,” she warned.

Ending her video, she reaffirmed her Christian faith and encouraged viewers to seek God only through Jesus Christ.

The only way to truly connect with God is through Jesus,” she declared. “Not mysticism, not spiritual experiments, only Jesus.”
