How to watch the Gulder Ultimate Search
The new season of the survival reality show, Gulder Ultimate Search premieres on Saturday, October 16 2021.
Fans of the show will get to watch contestants brave the jungle in a bid to be crowned the title of Ultimate man/woman. The show will premiere on African Magic channels on Dstv and Gotv.
Season 12 of the Gulder Ultimate Search, tagged “The Age of Craftsmanship’ will be anchored by Toke Makinwa. Season 7 winner, Oyekunle Oluwaremi has also been assigned the role of taskmaster.
The show premieres on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv channel 151), Africa Magic Urban (DStv channel 153) and Africa Magic Family (DStv channel 154 & GOtv channel 2).
Executive Head of Marketing, MultiChoice Nigeria, Tope Oshunkeye also added that the show will air “every Saturday and Sunday night till December 19, 2021, from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm.”

Miss the Saturday show? That’s fine. There’ll be a recap shown on all the designated channels on Monday at 2 pm. You can also catch a rerun of Sunday’s episode on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv channel 151) on Tuesday at 12 pm, Africa Magic Urban (DStv channel 153) on Wednesday at 12 pm and Africa Magic Family (DStv channel 154 & GOtv channel 2) on Thursday at 12 pm.
Gulder Ultimate Search began in 2004 and ran for 11 consecutive seasons before taking a break in 2014. The show is back after a 7-year hiatus for season 12. In its survival-type reality show format, contestants try to outwit each other, while also being camped in the jungle. However, the show’s plot is centered on the search for a hidden artifact. Whichever contestant finds the artifact first gets instant fame and fortune.
