In the wake of the recent church attack in Kwara State, top Nigerian celebrities across entertainment and gospel have voiced their deep grief, anger, and solidarity with the victims and their families. Nigerian comedian, actor, and activist Adebowale “Debo” Adedayo issued a sharp rebuke of the government’s inaction: “Nigerians are waking up to yet another terrorist attack on a church in Kwara state. We have a tone deaf President, a callous and irresponsible Government surrounded by the worst set of lunatics whose sycophancy and deception have made this country unbearable for the People!!!” He wrote.
