I Charge More Than N10M For a Show- Flavour

Nigerian singer, Chinedu Okoli, better known as Flavour N’abania has revealed that he charges more than N10m for a show.

He brought this revelation to light during a recent edition of Black Box Interview series hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu where he opened up about his music, relationship and sexual life.

Speaking on why fans pay such exuberant amount to watch him perform, the 37-year-old singer said: “It motivates me, it shows how people appreciate you,”

Even in this COVID period. I was going to sing for couples, just them and their families. Sometimes I go with my guitar and that was all it took.

“They just needed to hear you sing and they paid something as I went with a band and all that.

In 2005, Flavour released his self-titled 8-track debut album N’abania. Afterwards, he released Uplifted in 2010 which had hit singles like Nwa Baby, Oyi and Adanma.

The album was successful and made waves on various media platforms, thereby creating a platform for Flavour to become one of Africa’s most sort artiste. It is believed to be his highest selling album. He released his latest album, Flavour of Africa in 2020.
