I fancy women marrying older lovers – Cynthia Shalom

Nollywood actress and winner of the Next Movie Star Reality TV show (2015 edition), Cynthia Shalom, says there is nothing wrong in women marrying older lovers.

Of course, when Shalom was asked to comment on what she thought about women marrying older partners, the busty role interpreter told Sunday Scoop that marrying older lovers are relatively common in the society, and it’s no news at all.

“I actually fancy women who marry older lovers. She is more likely to look up to him because he is older and has more experience which often leads to maturity.”

Cynthia Shalom further stated that  “as long as they are good to each other and their vision for the future is in harmony, why not? It is about the two of them as individuals and not the age difference. Age is only a number.”

Speaking of her carrier experience, the actress said that rejections were one of the hurdles she had to surmount while starting out in Nollywood. “No one likes to hear ‘no’. However, over time, I trained myself to accept ‘no’ though it took me a long time to understand.

Trying to fit in and stand out was also another challenge I faced. Nollywood is huge with so many talents chasing the same thing.”
