His words: “I mean, it’s great. Like it felt really good, you know. But at the end of the day, I always felt I was one of the greatest singers in the world, so they weren’t telling me anything new.”

Burna Boy, also revealed how people abroad usually react whenever he says he is Nigerian.
He said the first thing they ask is, “Do you know Burna Boy?”
The singer explained that this reaction made him realise the heavy responsibility he carries as one of Africa’s leading artistes.
He added: “The only thing they say when I tell them I am Nigerian is ‘Do you know Burna Boy?’ I did not really understand what that meant. How deep did that mean? The responsibility that I carried. The need that Burna Boy has to live up to that. That means Burna Boy cannot sleep off. That is really the only thing.”
Burna Boy came into the spotlight in 2013 with his hit single ‘Like to Party’, off his debut album ‘L.I.F.E’.
