I Got Married Without An Account Balance – Yul Edochie
Yul Edochie, is currently under fire for the new gospel he preached to a fan on Instagram.
The Nollywood actor is of the opinion that men can get married at any time irrespective of financial status, provided they find the woman of their dreams.
The movie star cum politician revealed this while replying comments from fans after he shared a photo of his kids and himself.
Commenting on Yul’s photo, a fan praised him for getting married at age 22, explaining that he would love to do the same but for his ‘account balance’.
He wrote: “You’re blessed.! Married at the age of 22… Nnam I dey plan make I do wetn u do oo… But my account balance is telling me to wait for 27 years o… I won’t lie. Much love from me sir. #Ya_gazie! ✌” the fan wrote.
The actor however responded to the comment, explaining that he took his decision at the time without a dime at hand, encouraging his fan to “believe in God”
He wrote: “@innocentdanny09 You try. I didn’t even have account balance at all when I started. Once you have a woman who is ready, then have a vision. And believe in God.”
Yul’s response has since gotten a lot of people talking about the different angles of settling down. While some agree with him, others see his advice as a wrong encouragement to ‘lazy men’.
