Veteran Nigerian Juju musician, Oluwashina Akanbi Peters, who is better known as Sir Shina Peters, has spoken candidly about his private life, revealing that he had his first child at the age of 14.
In a recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, the Afrojuju crooner explained that he started his career at the age of 10 and achieved success very early.
“I started my career at the age of 10. I had my first child at 14. I bought my first car at 13. I built my first house at 16,” he said.

The 67-year-old, however, shut down the possibility of him making a comeback to the music industry, stressing that the environment is no longer “conducive” for him to record anymore.
Sir Shina Peters noted that his fans cut across ethnic groups, claiming that he has more Igbo fans than Yoruba fans.
“65 per cent of my fans are Igbos, not Yorubas. My fans are demanding that I give them new music, but I don’t just go to the studio. I can’t go to the studio, the atmosphere is not conducive to me. I don’t know what to sing,” the music legend added.
