Veteran Nollywood actor Prince Jide Kosoko has shared an emotional tribute to his late wife, actress Henrietta Emumejiapkor Kosoko, on the 10th anniversary of her passing.
In a heartfelt Instagram post on Saturday, June 6, 2026, the actor described her as a woman full of “love, grace, and strength” to him and their children.
“Today marks 10 years since my beloved wife, Henrietta Emumejiapkor Kosoko, returned to her Creators,” he wrote. “Her children are doing great, and I know she’s smiling from above. May God grant her Peace yonder. We miss you, Rita omo Odudukudu. Continue to rest in peace, iya ibeji.”

Henrietta Kosoko, a talented Yoruba film actress, passed away on June 6, 2016, at the age of 53.
She reportedly slumped at home and was confirmed dead at the hospital. She had been managing diabetes, with some accounts linking complications to a serious car accident she survived the previous year.
Known for her elegance and professionalism on screen, Henrietta was one of Jide Kosoko’s wives and mother to several of his children, including twins.
Her death was a huge loss to the Nigerian movie industry. The Kosoko family continues to honour her memory every year through tributes and projects.
