I Never Thought I Would Win BBNaija- Laycon

Olamilekan “Laycon” Agbeleshe, has revealed that winning the 2020 Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality TV show was shocking.

In an  an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the show’s host, the Fierce singer stated that he thought Dorathy would win the grand prize.

“I never thought I would win BBNaija. I mean, why not Dorathy. At the back of my mind, I never thought I could win money,” he said.

“I just came to promote myself and my song. When I look at the other five people, I thought I was going to be second.”

Speaking on the surge of his Instagram followers from 3,700 to 1.5 million, the 26-year old rapper said: “It excites me; makes me grateful. It makes me feel, ‘So, people can connect with me?

“It makes me feel like I have a lot of work to do because the point of existing as a human being is to use your own to help other people. I’m very very grateful to my fans.

“I’m looking forward to sharing the rest of this journey with you because it doesn’t end here.”
