Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has strongly rejected accusations that she exploited May Yul-Edochie’s marital issues to grow her social media presence.
In a fiery response as seen online, the veteran actress, who is an in-law in the Edochie family, insisted that Queen May has long been the foundation of her journey.
“Tell me I used my great darling daughter Queen May Yul Edochie to grow my page and I will proudly tell you I tapped from her beautiful grace and it’s much better,” she wrote.
Edochie dismissed giving credit to what she described as “an insignificant content creator who spends all her time with another woman’s husband, manufacturing babies like her womb is a factory machine.”

She stressed that she has been relevant and visible on social media since 2015, long before the ongoing drama. “This woman right here is bigger than your generations born and unborn. She has been fire,” she added.
While openly admitting that May’s grace gave her an extra push, Edochie drew a clear line: “But to sit down and give the credit of my entire page to a mere marital content creator… is where I draw the line. I refuse to grow my page with the devil and her cohorts.”
The actress maintained she has no shame in associating with “beautiful grace” and remains proud of the support she draws from May, while insisting her hard-earned audience and relevance predate the current public feud.
