‘I had no choice but to remove my womb’ – Nse Ikpe Etim

Multiple award-winning actress, Nse Ikpe Etim, has recently revealed how her medical condition left her with the only option of removing her womb so as to have a normal healthy life.

The actress, who was on Rubbin Minds with Ebuka, disclosed that she suffered from a condition called adenomyosis. This implies that the inner lining of her uterus breaks through the muscle of her uterus.

Nse Ikpe Etim said that she further decided to open up on the hysterectomy, the womb removal procedure, to make people understand that life doesn’t just stop because of a challenge.

Also speaking on her surgery, Etim said she is happy that she took control of her life; not being constantly exhausted by emotions and all kinds of pain.

In addition, she hinted that her husband is satisfied with her and also glad that she is healthy.

Although the actress has been accused of never being friendly on set; she has said that she is only being professional at work; she is not on set to make friends. Etim added that she plays her roles well, and her colleagues should understand that because they are actors.

Nse Ikpe Etim also alluded to the rumor that she blocked her husband on Instagram after he created an account to check up on her.  She said it was true.
