Toke Makinwa, the media personality has opened up about her pregnancy journey, revealing how she has been sharing the experience with her close friend and fashion designer, Toju Foyeh.
In a video posted on her Instagram page, the two friends were seen dancing together while showing off their baby bumps. Toke said sharing this special moment with Toju is proof that God always gives people what they need at the right time.
She explained that before now, she used to worry about being the oldest parent in the room and about her child not having friends within her circle, since most of her friends’ children were already grown. According to her, God surprised her by making it possible for her and Toju to be pregnant at the same time.

Toke expressed excitement that their children will be able to grow up together, describing it as a blessing that has made life even better for them.
“Sharing this journey with my sister-friend @tojufoyeh is a testament to the fact that God will always give you what you need. I always worried about being the oldest parent in the room and my child not having friends in my circle because everyone’s kid is all grown up, but look at God. Our kids get to grow together and do life with each other. Congratulations, my friend and sister Toju. Who would have thought? Life has gotten even better,” she wrote.

Toke added that her declaration for 2025 was to have a different year, and according to her, God answered her prayers.
In a heartfelt message to God, she thanked Him for transforming her life and opening doors that no one could shut. She admitted that although she did not understand why the journey took so long, she now sees the reason.
On a recent episode of her podcast, Toke revealed she is ready to settle down, even if it means becoming a second, third or fourth wife. She had previously spoken about being single and childless at 40, saying that if she had remarried in the past, she might have ended up divorced again. She stressed that life’s lessons never stop, but she refuses to feel pity for herself. Instead, she focuses on her achievements and the love she receives from those around her.
