Nigerian influencer and relationship coach Blessing Okoro, known as Blessing CEO, has made a dramatic U-turn on her stage 4 breast cancer claim.
In a fresh interview with comedian Egungun, she admitted she does not have cancer and described the initial announcement as a “misunderstanding.”

Blessing CEO stated: “I will not apologize to Nigerians for receiving money from them. I was able to make just ₦13 million through the donations. I cannot share my medical results online because they are personal. It was not my fault. I relied on what the doctor told me — that my breast lumps were cancerous. I misunderstood the situation and shared that information, only to later discover that it was not cancer.”

She first publicly revealed her supposed diagnosis in late March 2026. She posted what she claimed was a medical report, shaved her head, cried in emotional videos begging for help, and listed personal items and property for sale to fund surgery and chemotherapy. Nigerians responded with donations.
The claims quickly drew fierce backlash from some users who spotted discrepancies in her words as Social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM), who had donated a sum of 1 million naira, demanded medical proof and refunds.
Actress Nkechi Blessing also publicly slammed her as a “broad daylight thief” and urged the EFCC to investigate the alleged scam.
Despite the outrage, Blessing CEO stood firm in the Egungun interview, refusing refunds or further disclosure.
