However, a die-hard fan will go to extreme lengths to prove their love for their favourite celebrity by getting them tattooed on their body. And while we may think it is the Western style/tradition and not a Nigerian thing… More fans are proving this assertion wrong by the day. Ridiculous? Perhaps!
Besides, unconsciously most of us settle for a copycat hair cut or a cheap imitation dress of our favourite celebrities. How far would you go to prove your love for your favourite celebrity?

Naira Marley Fan Tattoo
Naira Marley is know to have a boat load of crazy fans known as “Marlians”… but crazy enough to get her back tattooed?
It is not news that he has become one of the most popular musicians in the last few months haven attracted a large portion of today’s youths .
Just recently, this mystery lady made a bold statement and photos of the bold new look found their way onto the internet and have now gone viral. We certainly do not know if the lady has gotten Naira Marley‘s face tattoo inked on her back for eternity. However, this tattoo looks like the igbo version of the singer.
Davido’s 30B Gang Tattoo
Most of the ladies in Nigeria consider themselves BIG fans of Nigerian music-star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido. However, disqualified BB Naija housemate, Tacha was not afraid to show her commitment to the billionaire singer also known as OBO( Omo Baba Olowo).
On what she loves about Davido to have gotten the OBO crest in between her boobs, Tacha said the singer’s drive and strength are what she loves and admires. “ Yeah, I love Davido. David was the inspiration behind my having the OBO tattoo. You know David has this drive regardless of everything, he still has that drive and strength and it’s what I admire. I want to be Tacha that the world will know and still act like upcoming.”
Late last year, it was reported that Tacha allegedly cleaned off the singers Tattoo from her body.
However, photos of the reality star that surfaced online at the time shows that the tattoo was edited by the photographer. It would have been better if she had gotten another tattoo of the singer now that she is rich and famous.
If the name OBO wasn’t tattooed too, frankly we would have never guessed this was Davido.
Burna Boy
Burna Boy may be wearing a serious expression, but the image is anything but… Why does he look like Yokozuna? Where is the singers macho image? Nobody other than the artist and the person who paid for the tattoo knows for sure. But if Burna Boy saw it himself, we’re sure it would amuse him.
Wizkid
Wizkid might be one of the most commonly tattooed musicians in Nigeria. He has always been referred to as one of the best musicians to come out of Nigeria; and he probably always will be. It’s therefore completely unsurprising that he’s a popular choice for tattoos.
We’re not sure if someone won a bet, lost a bet, or just has a quirky sense of humour. Whatever the explanation, it looks like poor Wizkid isn’t very happy about it!
The worst thing is that even if this fan walked past Wizkid on the street, he wouldn’t recognize what she has on her back.
