Ifu Ennada Discloses her Relationship Status
Actress and Ex-Bbnaija housemate, Ifu Ennada has disclosed to her fans and “men shooting their shots” that she is not ready to be in a relationship even though she is Single.
Her statement came after she shared screenshots of men sliding into her dm to “defend their good character” and ask her out.
Ennada had previously recounted her experience with her ex-lovers who didn’t treat her right and her disclosure apparently attracted a lot of men who saw an opportunity to make a move.
In a post made yesterday (Tuesday November 10, 2020), the 28-year-old Bbnaija star revealed that her decision to remain single was born out of encounters in failed relationships.
According to her, she never asked any of her ex-lovers for money, instead she always gave to them and this experience made her wonder if she was under a curse to remain single.
She wrote in different posts: “I think I’m cursed when it comes to men…Maybe, I’m like Paul who isn’t destined to be married.”
In the lenghty post titled: “Me and Useless Men”, Ennada let fans in on different scenarios in her previous relationships, mentioning the fact that she would be ending this year as a single woman even though she started it with a relationship.
She wrote: “When I’m in a relationship I give to the man instead and help build him. I remember one fool I almost dated in 2018, I went to see him, saw that he had gotten into a 150k debt while trying to impress and I gave him 200k to settle the debt and buy some food for himself. Dude was literally starving and people didn’t know because he was living on past glory, so people didn’t know he was suffering.”.
The actress further noted that her words were not as a result of heartbreak, rather out of expression, seeing that one of her ex-lovers suddenly resurfaced in her life.
“I’m not heartbroken o, ah! As a matter of fact, I’m glad to be ending the year single even though I started it in a relationship. I’m just expressing myself because an Idiot I had forgotten suddenly resurfaced in my life a few days ago and just reminded me of how much of an ingrate he and other men in my life were to me,” she wrote.
Ennada however addressed opposing fans right before they opposed; she stated that the reason for her encounters was not because of a “bad character” on her part but that she simply attracts “douchebags”.
Her words: “PS: No, I don’t have a character problem, I’m legit the sweetest girl you’ll ever know as a friend of Lover. I just somehow attract Grade A Douchebags.”
