Popular Nigerian social media critic and activist, VeryDarkMan, has stirred reactions online after publicly appealing to Nigerians not to vote for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in future elections.
In a viral video making rounds across social media platforms, the outspoken influencer went down on his knees while addressing Nigerians, insisting that the APC government does not have the country’s best interests at heart.
VeryDarkMan, who has repeatedly faced accusations from critics claiming he works for the APC, dismissed the allegations and urged Nigerians not to be deceived by political inducements during elections.
“I’m sure all of you have seen posts or tweets where they said I’m working for APC, but now I’m coming to beg all Nigerians not to vote for Tinubu, don’t vote for my supposed employers,” he said.
The activist further claimed that he had observed the system closely and no longer believed the party meant well for Nigerians.
According to him, temporary handouts such as money and food items should not influence citizens when making decisions at the polls.
