Oluwafisayo Isa, a Nigerian-born British rapper known as Darkoo, has said she is ready to have children.
She, however, said she doesn’t want to carry babies in her womb.
The Favourite Girl crooner, who opened up about being gay years ago, said she prefers her partner to carry the baby.
Speaking in an interview with Madame Joyce, Darkoo said, “I’m at a phase in my life when I’m thinking about having kids. I feel like I would be a great mom, but I don’t want to carry the baby in my womb. My partner is going to carry it.”

She explained that being a mother is more than just blood ties, stressing that mothering is loving and caring for a child.
In 2024, Darkoo revealed that opening up to her parents about her sexuality lifted a weight off her shoulders.
The queer artiste said she has been happier since opening up to her mom about her sexuality.
“The day I told my mom [about my sexuality], it felt like a massive weight off my shoulder… I’ve been happy since then,” she said.
“Opening up to my mom and dad was a great relief. It was hard on my mom more than my dad because I’m closer to her. It was very emotional for my mom.
“My dad was not really interested in the conversation but at the end of the day, I’m living my life. And that’s what I’m doing.”
