Renowned Nigerian diminutive comedian Nkubi, whose real name is Victor Udochukwu Nwaogu, has come under fire for failing to recount his most recent romantic gesture towards his wife, Vivian Nwaogu.

During the session, Nkubi was asked what the most romantic thing he did for his wife in recent times was, and he said, “I helped her out with the baby.” His wife stated that he hadn’t done anything romantic for her in recent times, nor had he bought her flowers despite her request.
In his defence, Nkubi would state, “Flowers are not for Africans, you are an African, you don’t need it.” While Nkubi was trying to make a statement for himself during the session, his wife frowned, expressing that she wasn’t interested in what he was saying.
