Inside Penn Badgely and Cardi B’s newly formed friendship
American rapper Cardi B and American actor Penn Badgley’ have formed a new friendship.
Cardi B and the You actor recently started interacting on Twitter. This happened when a Twitter user re-shared an old clip of the You star discussing his rocky relationship with social media.
The 34 year old actor revealed that whenever he tries to do something on social media, it is pathetic. He stated that he admired Cardi B’s authenticity online.
The ‘WAP’ singer saw the video of Badgely praising her social media profiles. In the video, he said,
“To me, it’s this incredibly nuanced place to be, and despite what many might judge as antics, I feel she has an incredibly authentic relationship to that, and I think that’s why people like her so much.”
Cardi then commented on the clip,
“OOOOMMFFFGGGGGG HE KNOWS ME !!! OMMMGGGG!!!!!!Yoooo like I’m famous famous.”
In reaction, Badgely changed his Twitter avatar to a photo of a blue-haired Cardi B, further proving his admiration for the mother of two.
Cardi responded by sharing a video of a kid looking at a camera and asking his mom, “Is that you? Is that me?”
