
Renowned American streamer iShowSpeed is currently in Lagos State, Nigeria, for his “Speed Does Africa” tour, and he is receiving mixed reactions from his international and Nigerian audience for various reasons.
On Wednesday, January 21, iShowSpeed arrived in Lagos State, and he has been coming across different personalities, such as street urchins, hooligans, and other individuals who are seeking financial assistance from him. Due to the series of requests from various persons, social media commentators and celebrities alike have taken to their respective accounts to disclose and express their disappointment in the current status of Nigerians.
A notable incident that took place during iShowSpeed’s visit was the unceremonious evacuation of Nigerian streamer, Peller.

What Happened Between IShowSpeed and Peller?

Peller was prevented from meeting American YouTuber and streamer Darren Jason Watkins Jr., popularly known as iShowSpeed multiple times during the latter’s visit to Lagos, Nigeria, an encounter that went viral across social media.
Viral video footage shows Peller attempting to approach iShowSpeed during a livestream but being intercepted and bundled away by the streamer’s bodyguard, stopping the meeting on camera.
In another dramatic moment, Peller chased after iShowSpeed’s convoy on a horse, trying to get the American star’s attention, but was ignored as onlookers watched.
During the encounter, Peller pleaded: “Please I’m a streamer. I’m big. Please let’s do something. I have suffered because of you.”

Former Big Brother Naija contestant, Tuoyo, says he’s heartbroken by the way Nigerian online streamer, Peller, was prevented from meeting famous US streamer, iShowSpeed.
Tuoyo shared the same sentiments with some Nigerians that the whole incident was embarrassing. He opined that Peller should never have put himself in such a position given that he, Peller, is also a big streamer in Nigeria.
He said he is sure iShowSpeed knows Peller but just chose to have him treated like that.
Another Reality Star Tackles Nigerians

Tochi, a Nigerian reality star, has thrown a jab at Nigerian youths excited about iShowSpeed’s arrival.
In a post shared on Instagram, Tochi said he wonders why many Youths throng to the streets to welcome iShowspeed who is creating contents and making money off such visits.
‘’A large number of youths urgently need a job, and they need it fast” he said.
