In the first film, high schooler Miles Morales exists in an alternate dimension where Spider-Man has been killed. The film’s inventive animation and funny, heartfelt script made it one of the best superhero movies in recent memory. Arguably the best Spider-Man movie ever. The movie won the 2019 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film and also grossed $375.5 million at the global box office.
