Nigerian actor Efa Iwara has recently opened up about his experience working on the hit series “King of Boys,” calling it a “magical” journey.
Iwara praised the film’s creator, Kemi Adetiba, for her exceptional artistic vision and resilience, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The actor during a chat with Chude, admired Adetiba’s dedication to pushing boundaries and her unwavering commitment to bringing groundbreaking narratives to life.
According to Iwara, Adetiba’s energy and drive are truly inspiring, and her creativity knows no bounds. “Her energy, her drive, is enviable. And her creativity is out of this world,” the actor said. Despite facing strict production constraints and battling illness, Adetiba continued filming, motivating Iwara and the entire team.
Iwara’s journey in the entertainment industry hasn’t been without challenges. Born with a stammer, he learned to manage it with the help of his brother.
Now, Iwara is gearing up for new projects, including his directorial debut, a short film yet to be titled. With his passion for storytelling and growth as an artist, Iwara feels there’s still much potential waiting to be tapped. “I feel I can do so much more. I feel like there is so much potential that is untapped,” he told Chude.
Kemi Adetiba continues to make waves in African cinema with her dynamic style and innovative storytelling, as seen in her latest project, “To Kill A Monkey,” and the acclaimed “King of Boys”.
