Foremost Nigerian movie producer and filmmaker, Jade Osiberu, has disclosed that she has welcomed her first child at the age of 40.
The Nigerian moviemaker made this revelation via her Instagram account on Sunday, December 28, as the year slowly concludes.

Announcing on her IG page, Osiberu mentioned that the trajectory of her life changed completely in August of this year when she welcomed her first child at the age of 40.

She wrote, “08/08/2025 – My life changed forever 💕
God said in your 40th year, I will complete you. God really does make all things beautiful in his time.”
Osiberu went further to state, “I have been on many journeys in my life but the journey to becoming a mother has been the most humbling and life defining. God has shown me so much mercy and favor… To say I feel seen and loved by God would be an understatement… I feel like his favorite child.”
In conclusion, Osiberu mentioned that the name of her child is Moraraoluwa Jaiyeoba. The leading Nollywood movie producer didn’t disclose the identity of her child’s father.
She wrote, “Moraraoluwa Jaiyeoba, may the Lord bless you, may the Lord keep you. May the Lord make you wise, may He show you which way to go and watch over you. May the Lord grant you favour and give you peace. May the Lord be happy with you and may you rest in His love. He will sing and be joyful about you.”
Osiberu has now joined the elongating list of celebrities who are welcoming babies in their 40s. Earlier, eelive.ng reported that media personality, Toke Makinwa, welcomed her first child several months before she turned 41.
