Jesse Jagz Announces Release Date For New Album

Jesse Garba Abaga, Nigerian rapper known professionally as Jesse Jagz, has scheduled May 29, 2020 as the release date of his upcoming fifth album.

Although the 36-year-old rapper did not officially state the name of the new album, he teased fans with the name- Garba.

The rapper took to Twitter to share the news with his fans. He wrote:

“Happy birthday to my brother my friend my manager @ibropashi … #garba# 29th of may.. project for the fans. jah bless..”

The rapper who is a brother to Jude Abaga, rapper better known as MI Abaga, has been off the music scene in a protracted hiatus.

Jesse Jagz signed a record deal with Chocolate City in 2010; and released his debut studio album Jag of All Tradez that same year. He voluntarily exited Chocolate City in 2013 and announced the launch of his independent outfit Jagz Nation. He went on to release his second studio album Jagz Nation, Vol.1. Thy Nation Come in 2013; it was supported by the singles Redemption, Bad Girl, Sex & Scotch and God on the Mic. His third studio album Jagz Nation Vol. 2: Royal Niger Company was released in 2014. He returned to Chocolate City in 2015 but left the label prior to releasing his fourth studio album Odysseus (2017).
