It is safe to say veteran Nigerian actress and social media content creator, Iyabo Ojo, is one of the women in the world right now, as her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, walks down the aisle with her Tanzanian partner, Juma Jux.
Taking to social media during the early hours of today, Iyabo Ojo, who is a proud mother of two, mentioned that she is genuinely thankful for how life has turned out.
She wrote on her Instagram account, “This is the day the Lord has made! I shall rejoice and be glad in it! JP2025 is finally here! God’s blessings to every single soul. Thank you, Lord!”
Dressed in a fascinating green native attire, Iyabo Ojo shared various photos on her Instagram account to express the excitement brimming from within her.

The Joy Of Motherhood
Prior to becoming a prominent movie actress and producer, Iyabo Ojo got married to Mr Ademidun Ojo in 1999. According to reports gathered, he was a clearing agent, as at the time of their union, a young Iyabo Ojo took a break from her acting career to build a family.
She gave birth to a son and then a daughter (born in 1999 and 2001, respectively), namely Felix Ojo and Priscilla Ajoke Ojo. She has since divorced the man, hence raising the two kids alone. EELive gathered that the 47-year-old actress has attributed the breakup of her first marriage to marrying too young.
It is interesting to note that Mr Ademidun was actively involved in the life of his children despite the divorce. Although he has since started a new family overseas, he will be appearing at the wedding ceremony of his daughter, Priscilla.
Against all odds, Iyabo Ojo has been able to raise her two kids as a divorcee, helping their respective careers and helping them to make profound life decisions. As her 24-year-old daughter walks down the aisle today, she is firmly in the arms of her partner, music executive, Paul Okoye, looking on with pride and satisfaction that she has done an impeccable job as a mother.
