Henry Okoye, the elder brother of Nigerian music duo Psquare, has made fresh allegations about the family’s long-running disagreements, accusing his younger brothers, Paul and Jude Okoye, of neglecting other members of their family.
In a statement circulating online, Henry claimed that he played an important role in supporting Psquare financially during their early days, before the group became successful.
He alleged that Jude only became involved as their manager after the twins had started making money from their music career.
According to Henry, their late mother was initially opposed to Jude managing the group because she was allegedly concerned about his character.
Henry also claimed that the relationship between Psquare and some members of the family has deteriorated significantly over the years.
He alleged that the family is made up of eight siblings and that Paul and Jude have become distant from the others.
He particularly expressed concern about their youngest sibling, whom he claimed is struggling in Lagos without receiving adequate support from her brothers.
He said: “We are 8 in number and Psquare no longer talks to the rest of the family, Our Lastborn is in Lagos Suffering and Jude and Paul Doesn’t Care about her.”

Addressing his relationship with Jude, Henry did not mince his words, describing his brother in extremely harsh terms.
He said: “I am senior to both Jude and Psquare. Jude is my brother, but he is a very bad person. He is very wicked. I was the one who started sponsoring Psquare when they had nothing.”

He further alleged that Jude only stepped in after Psquare began making money and wanted to take over their management.
Henry also made the unsubstantiated claim that Jude may have used spiritual means to influence Paul
He added: “It’s like Jude used juju on Paul.”
Henry’s allegations come amid renewed public attention on the Okoye family, following a series of revelations by Psquare’s Peter Okoye about the group’s history, family disagreements and the circumstances surrounding their eventual split.
