Kanayo O. Kanayo is thankful as he clocks 57
One of the oldest and most notable faces in Nollyood, Kanayo O. Kanayo recently took to his Instagram page to share posts in celebration as he clocks the new age of 57.
The actor and Glo ambassador shared a picture of himself accompanied by a caption in which he thanked God for his life and also thanked his fans and supporters that have been with him all through the years.
In another post, he shared videos revealing that some women of his village in Mbaise, Imo State, had visited him to celebrate the occasion with him. He said: “The women in my village also came to pray and celebrate with me here in Oboama Ezinihitte Mbaise,My country home. (PART ONE)”
A second video showed the women singing a birthday song for the actor.
Kanayo O. Kanayo or KOK as he is called was born with real name; Anayo Modestus Onyekwere in Mbaise, Imo State on the 1st of March 1962. He made his debut in the industry about 27 years ago in “Living in Bondage”. In 2006, the actor won the African Movie Academy Award (AMAA) for Best Actor in a Leading Role.
