Kardashians win Blac Chyna defamation lawsuit

The Kardashian-Jenner family has won the defamation case levelled against them by Angela White, popularly known as Blac Chyna.

This happened on May 2, when the jury awarded no damages to Chyna. She accused Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kris Jenner of defamation and contract interference. According to the jury, the Kardashian-Jenners did not unjustly harm Chyna’s career.

Earlier, the judge issued a directed verdict to find Kim not liable with respect to defamation. He rules that there is no evidence that Kim took part in publishing the alleged defamatory statements.

Although the family was not in court for the final verdict, Kris revealed that all five of her daughters would be at the 2022 Met Gala.

Chyna first filed a lawsuit against her Kim and Khloe Kardashian Kylie and Kris Jenner in 2017. In the $140 million defamation suit, Chyna claimed that the Kardashian-Jenner family was involved in the cancellation of Rob & Chyna season 2.

Chyna shares 5-year-old daughter Dream Kardashian with former boyfriend Rob Kardashian and also sued him for assault, battery and harassment.

During the court proceedings, Rob, Kylie, Kim, Khloe and Kris all took the stand to testify. In Rob’s testimony on April 27, he described the relationship stating. “I was probably in the worst place in my entire life. She was catching me at my lowest.”

He also added that he was diagnosed with ketoacidosis and diabetes at that time.
