Controversial journalist Dr. Kemi Olunloyo has fired back at Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, father of Afrobeats superstar Davido, following his recent press conference addressing the long-standing paternity controversy involving a teenager named Anuoluwapo (Anu) and his son.
In the press briefing held at his Lagos residence, Dr. Adeleke broke his silence on the allegations that his son fathered Anu, dismissing the claims and accusing Kemi Olunloyo of impersonating the minor and her mother on social media accounts to spread falsehoods and defamation.

He presented details of past DNA tests allegedly proving Anu is not his granddaughter, noting that his family privately support the child and her mother since knowing them.
The easy going businessman also threatened legal action against Olunloyo for what he described as years of negative campaigns against Davido.

Reacting swiftly through videos posted online, Olunloyo denied impersonating anyone and clarified her limited past involvement. She explained that she had created Anu’s Instagram account years ago to help the family and later handed over the password to Anu’s mother, Ayo Labinjoh, in 2019. “I gave Anu’s mother the password,” Olunloyo stated, insisting she stepped away and has not been in direct contact since, though she continues to speak on the matter out of passion for justice.
She accused him of shielding his son from accountability amid multiple controversies including alleged mysterious deaths linked to people close to the singer. Olunloyo further claimed that Dr. Adeleke had not told Davido the full truth about his late mother Veronica Adeleke’s death, noting her past association with the family.
