Kevin Hart: US Capitol Protesters would be Dead if they were Blacks
American comedian, Kevin Hart has reacted to the invasion of the Capitol Building in Washington DC by President Donald Trump supporters, saying protesters would be dead if they were Blacks.
Recall that yesterday (Wednesday, January 6, 2021), thousands of protesters loyal to Trump invaded the US Capitol during the process of certifying the November 3 presidential election, which was won by Trump’s opponent, Joe Biden.
The development, which prompted the hasty evacuation of lawmakers to safety, has continued to generate heated outrage across the globe.
Echoing the same feeling as many other people in the Black community, Hart said if the Trump rioters were Black People, more than likely, they would’ve been killed.
On his Instagram page, the humour merchant shared a picture of Trump protesters climbing the walls of the Capitol building and even showed a protester sitting in one of the offices with his feet up on the desk.
