KieKie welcomes first child with hubby
Nigerian comedienne and actress Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, popularly known as KieKie, has welcomed her first child with her husband.
The actress made the announcement on Tuesday through her Instagram page.
Sharing a picture of the baby, she cautioned “Look who’s here! Our baby! NOLA. E ILORI @shonaola_ilori.”
Earlier, KieKie revealed her baby bump. She revealed this in a video posted on Instagram.
In the video, she dedicated a new song to her son, Oluwashonaolami. The song was filled with prayers and well wishes. She featured the Akinpelu Girls in her song dedication.
Kiekie shared her excitement about the fact that she is going to be a mother, stating one small drizzle, she fell pregnant. She wrote,
“Look who’s going to be a mummy.Me wey never fall dann inside rain before! One small drizzle bayi! I fell pregnant, Danu Danu!”
This came after KieKie spoke on her marriage in an interview. She said, “I respect the privacy of my family and marriage, and I do my best to show them to the barest minimum. (I) just (do) the basic things when it’s necessary; maybe birthdays and anniversaries. (I believe that) the little one shares, the better.”
She further stated that her marriage was not affecting her career because her husband understands the sanctity of marriage. According to her, “The beautiful thing is that I married a man who understands the concept of marriage, and we have been able to create a balance. When something is to be done at home, it is not a function of whose job it is but a function of who is available to do it. When there is something that needs to be done, I just get on it and do it as soon as possible. So, none is affecting the other. I think the baseline here is just to be responsible.”
