Kim Kardashian is getting $60 million LA home in divorce from Kanye West
Kim Kardashian is reportedly retaining the $60 million home she shared with rapper, Kanye West in the couple’s divorce.
According to TMZ, the home located in the famous hidden hills in Los Angeles was constructed by the couple from the ground up. The couple initially purchased the 5,000-square-foot Southern California mansion for $20 million in 2014. However, they basically broke down the existing structure, renovating it down to every last nail.
Kim and the couple’s kids have been living in the home since she filed for divorce in February. According to reports, Kanye agreed to giving Kim their family home, as it’s just minutes from her family, in an effort to keep with the kids’ current routine.
Even though there has been rumors of a reconciliation between Kanye and Kim, it looks like they’re moving forward with the divorce. “Kanye and Kim are moving forward with the divorce, even though recent signs have pointed to a reconciliation. Kim and Kanye are in a very good place, but they aren’t getting back together,” A source told ET.

The Hidden Hill home which took six years to build contains only neutral colors. The couple hired famous Belgian architect, Axel Vervoordt, to help construct the home.
In a 2020 interview with Architectural Digest, Kanye spoke about his inspiration for the home’s aesthetic. Describing it as a “metamorphosis from suburban McMansion to futuristic Belgian monastery.”
