The development comes shortly after Ayoyinka revealed in an emotional interview that he does not own a car or a house, despite decades of entertaining Nigerians on screen, with the popular show “Papa Ajasco”. Ayoyinka disclosure prompted widespread reactions from fans and colleagues, many of whom expressed sympathy and called for support.

In response, King Mitchy reportedly reached out to the actor, as she knelt down and gifted him a substantial sum of money to assist with his needs.

Although the exact amount was not disclosed publicly, sources indicate that the donation was significant and intended to ease some of the financial burden highlighted by the veteran performer.

Ayoyinka became a household name through the popular “Papa Ajasco” television series, created by producer Wale Adenuga.

Taken back to February 28th 2026, eelive.ng reported that there was an allegations on Seyi Tinubu sponsoring Mitchy’s charity work and further escalated the controversy.  However Seyi Tinubu claimed it was false as he explained that he met Mitchy once, alongside others, and provided financial assistance towards her NGO activities as part of his broader support for youth empowerment initiatives across Nigeria.

In a widely circulated video shared on March 13, 2026, King Mitchy knelt and expressed deep remorse for her actions. She specifically addressed Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, saying, “I’m so sorry, sir. I disrespected you publicly, so I want to apologize publicly.”
