Korede Bello’s ‘Do Like That’ certified Gold in USA
Nigerian singer, Korede Bello, has received a Recording Industry Association of America, gold certification for his hit single “Do Like That”.
On Thursday, Bello informed fans of this via his verified Instagram page. The elated artiste shared a picture of the gold certification.
The certification revealed that the song received it’s gold certification after it sold 0.5 million certified units.
The song was released on September 13, 2016 under the popular Nigerian record label, Mavin Records and by September 20, 2021, roughly five years after it’s release, it received its gold certification.
Bello wrote under the post,
“Family, congratulations to us. Big love to all my fans around the world streaming #KoredeBello music. This is because of you.”
He also acknowledged Chief Executive Officer of the Mavin Records, who also served as the producer of the song, saying, “We struck gold with this record @burssbrain @donjazzy.”
The 25 year old artiste ended the post by telling his fans to”stay tuned for more.”
