Kourtney Kardashian confirms pregnancy complication reports

Kourtney Kardashian has confirmed that her recent hospital visit was due to complications during her pregnancy.

She made this revelation through an Instagram post on Wednesday.

She stated that she had undergone fetal surgery.

In her heartfelt message, she expressed deep gratitude to her medical team for saving her unborn son’s life.

Kourtney also thanked her husband Travis Barker for his support. And her mother Kris Jenner for standing by her side during the surgery.

Accompanying the message was a black and white photo of Kourtney in a hospital bed, holding her husband’s hand.

Kourtney wrote:

“I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life. I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.”

Kourtney, who is a mother of three, shared her newfound empathy for the maternal challenges that many women experience.

She explained that her previous pregnancies had not involved such complications, and the fear of potentially losing her child was a new and deeply affecting experience for her.

Kourtney assured her followers that her unborn child is currently safe in-utero and that she is in good health.

She said:

“As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant. Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing.”

When Blink-182 announced Travis Barker’s sudden departure from their European tour citing “an urgent family matter,” speculations arose regarding a potential issue with Kourtney Kardashian’s pregnancy.

Now, it has been confirmed that the 44-year-old reality star and her husband Travis Barker are indeed facing complications in her pregnancy.

The couple had previously announced their pregnancy in June 2023 during one of Blink-182’s performances in the United States, and this news was warmly received by their fans, especially considering their previous struggles with conception, which they had openly discussed on their reality show.
