Kunle Afolayan’s “Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre” series has completed filming.
The filmmaker announced the wrap on social media.
The upcoming project is a sequel to the award-winning 2022 movie, exploring the concept of reincarnation.
The series welcomes back familiar faces like Bimbo Ademoye and Sola Sobowale and adds Lateef Adedimeji and Gabriel Afolayan.
Produced by KAP Motion Pictures and Golden Effects Pictures, it boasts an extensive team of over 600 cast and crew members.
Following the success of “Anikulapo,” which topped Netflix’s global charts, the mystical period film received multiple awards at the 2023 AMVCA.
“Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre” is a 4-part original series set to debut on Netflix.
