Kunle Afolayan’s Movie “Mokalik” Premieres on Set Location
Much-anticipated movie “Mokalik” produced and directed by Kunle Afolayan premiered yesterday, May 30, 2019 at the location where the movie was shot in Agege.
Although set to premiere in cinemas today, May 31, 2019, the ace filmmaker stated that he was fulfilling a promise to the people at the original set workshop by showing them the film first before taking it anywhere else.
“Yesterday evening was magical! We screened MOKALIK to all the workers at the original mechanic workshop we used as location for the film shoot in Agege. I promised then they will see it first before the world premiere and cinema release. World premiere is tonight and Mokalik will release in cinema on May 31st,” he wrote on his LinkedIn page.
