La Femme Anjola’s Acting Challenge: Rita Dominic Announces Winner
Nollywood star, Rita Dominic has announced the winner of her acting challenge.
Eelive.ng had reported that Dominic in collaboration with Heritage Bank, launched an acting challenge for aspiring actors to recreate a scene in her new film, La Femme Anjola.
The acting challenge involves two actors, recreating the scene from La Femme Anjola, without music or sound design.
The winner of the #RitaDominicActingChallenge gets a grand prize of N1 million, and a role in the next project from The Audrey Silva Company, a film establishment founded by Dominic and filmmaker, Mildred Okwo.
Aside from the winner, Dominic had announced that there would be cash prizes for the first and second runners-up.
Tagging an Instagram user, @jasminwryts, as the winner of the contest, Dominic wrote: “Thank you @jasminwryts for understanding the kind of person Anjola is. She always works from a position of strength and only does ‘emotions’ just enough not to get too mushy. Without giving away spoilers for those who haven’t watched the film, the judges have chosen you as the Actor who best portrayed Anjola. From Mildred Okwo: “That entrance, the look at Dejare and the lowering of the head to work past him is something that only great actors can pull off. It set the stage for everything”
