The mother of the late Nigerian movie actress Nimmy Ferrari has alleged a dispute between members of her daughter’s paternal family over the house the actress built before her death.
In a video circulating on social media, the grieving mother claimed that members of Nimmy’s father’s family opposed the actress being buried in the house.

She said she had five children with Nimmy’s father and alleged that the late actress was the only child remaining.
The mother also accused Nimmy’s father of failing to financially support her daughter’s education and medical treatment, claiming that she personally sponsored the actress through university.

She further alleged that a disagreement over school fees once resulted in a physical altercation between her and Nimmy’s father, leaving her with stitches on her head.
According to her, she was contacted because she had permitted for Nimmy to be buried in the house. She said her daughter had no children and that allowing her to be buried there would help preserve her legacy.
She also denied having any personal interest in taking possession of the property, saying she already had her own house.

The mother alleged that members of Nimmy’s paternal family were planning to sell the property and appealed to Nigerians to intervene.
“I have my own house; there is nothing I want to use Nimota’s house for. Help me, they want to sell the house off. He did not spend a dime on her. They want to sell her house.”
Nimmy Ferrari was a Nollywood actress and content creator.
Her death reportedly came shortly before the planned celebration of the completion of her house in Sagamu, Ogun State.
