Late Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Ex Fiancee Dies of Drug Overdose
Late Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s ex fiancee Nick Gordon has died from a suspected drug overdose in Florida, years after he was found legally responsible for her death.
According to TMZ, Gordon’s brother, Jack Walker Jr., shared the news on facebook by writing:
“GOD WHY I DID I HAVE TO LOSE MY BROTHER ON NEW YEARS.”
He added “All I can do is cry.”
He later shared a tribute post with several photos of himself with Gordon.
It appears Gordon, 30, was hospitalized for a short time before his death. Sources said he had a series of heart attacks after he was rushed into intensive care in Florida amid New Year’s celebration.
Gordon, a prolific drug user was engaged to Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of singers Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. Gordon and a friend found Kristina Brown face down in a bathtub on Jan. 31, 2015, and she was placed in an induced coma. Brown aged 22 suffered irreversible brain damage and remained unresponsive, and died on July 26, 2015.
Bobbi Kristina’s family sued Gordon for wrongful death. He never faced criminal charges but was found responsible for her death in September 2016. However, he was ordered to pay her estate $36 million.
Her controlling ex-fiancee was also under criminal investigation for her death when he was accused of domestic violence with his new girlfriend, but the case was later dropped.
