
Popular Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has taken to social media to express his excitement and gratitude after making his Opera Debut in the stage play “The Gods Have Spoken” at Terra Kulture in Lagos.
Directed by Muyideen Oladapo, aka Lala, the opera marks a new chapter in Adedimeji’s acting career.

He wrote: “Stepping into the world of opera for the first time and embracing a major role was a challenge I eagerly welcomed. Yesterday’s operatic performance on the famous Terra Kulture stage in THE GODS HAVE SPOKEN as Directed by the Genius @lala_dapo was more than just a debut-it was a testament to growth, passion, and the power of pushing boundaries. Catch a glimpse of my performance and experience the magic.”

He continued; “The overwhelming commendations remind me that daring to try something new can lead to extraordinary moments. Proud and grateful to have taken this leap and to have connected with the audience in such a profound way. “The Gods Have Spoken” is an opera with a 40-page script and over 140 pages of music that explores the conflict between human nature and divine will. The play features a star-studded cast, including Lateef Adedimeji, Femi Branch, Omowunmi Dada, and Lizzy Jay.
The actor has urged fans to join him for the final shows of the stage play today, October 10, 2025 at the Terra Kulture.
