Lauren London Posts Tribute, as Nipsey Hussle’s Music Sales Surge

 

Lauren London, partner of recently killed Rapper, Nipsey Hussle spoke for the first time since he was shot to death, saying she is lost without the father of her child. She had been publicly silent until now, dealing with the tremendous loss.

Lauren recently posted a heartfelt tribute to Nipsey on her Instagram page, which read; “I am completely lost. I’ve lost my best friend, my sanctuary, my protector, my soul. I’m lost without you. We are lost without you babe. I have no words.”

They had been dating for several years, and have a son together. Earlier on in the year, they had done a joint GQ photo shoot, which looked like engagement pictures.

In another related report; as fans continued to mourn the death of Nipsey Hussle, sales of the late rapper’s music have surged 2,776 percent in the U.S. alone, according to early tabulations to Nielsen Music.

On Sunday (March 31), the day that Nipsey Hussle died, 15,000 units of the late rapper’s work were sold compared to Saturday (March 30) when just a bit over 1,000 copies were sold, as reported by Billboard on Tuesday (April 2).

According to the breakdown, 13,000 downloads on Sunday (which is up 2,588 percent) and 2,000 copies of his albums (a 6,412 percent increase) was recorded. Nipsey’s best-selling song on Sunday was his recently released single, “Racks in the Middle,” which features Roddy Ricch and Hit-Boy, which moved 3,000 units. His top-selling album on Sunday was his Grammy-nominated album ‘Victory Lap’.
