Leonardo Dicaprio’s dating history essentially reads like an all-star modelling cast list—hitting up some of the biggest names in lingerie modelling. Looking at his history, one thing truly strikes a chord; Leonardo DiCaprio doesn’t date women over 25!
With the Oscar-winning actor showing signs of settling down with current girlfriend, 23-year-old Camila Morrone, let’s take a look at his under-25 history.
1. Gisele Bündchen
Gisele Bündchen and Leonardo DiCaprio began dating in 1999 when she was 18, and they were pretty inseparable. The supermodel even went with the actor to the 2005 Oscars where he was nominated for The Aviator. They broke up that same year.
About a year later, Gisele began dating Tom Brady, who she married in 2009.
2. Bar Refaeli
After DiCaprio and Bündchen went their separate ways in 2005 — the actor dated Israeli model Bar Refaeli for five years beginning when Refaeli was 20 years old. The Isreali model is now married to an Isreali business mogul; with whom she has 3 children.
3. Blake Lively
After splitting with Refaeli in 2011, DiCaprio went on to date actress Blake Lively who was just 23 at the time. The couple only dated for a few months until Lively moved on to meet her husband, Ryan Reynolds whom she married in 2012. From this track record, it sort of looks like Leonardo DiCaprio is the man you date before meeting your husband.

Leo, 45, and his current girlfriend, model-turned-actress Camila Morrone, 23, were rumoured to be dating in December 2017 after they met at an event in Florida.
Speaking about her relationship with Leo in a previous interview with The Los Angeles Times, Camila said: “There’s so many relationships in Hollywood—and in the history of the world—where people have large age gaps. I just think anyone should be able to date who they want to date.”
When looking at it without context, it’s just another middle-aged celebrity dating a younger woman, which is sadly pretty common in Hollywood.
But what makes the whole relationship odd is the fact that Leo has known Camila since she was 11 years old. To put that in perspective, when Leo was in his 30s, his future girlfriend was just starting middle school.
Yes, Camila is a consenting adult. But it can’t be denied that given the history between the two, their relationship needs to be questioned. Given Leo’s dating pattern, they probably won’t last long.
At least now we can all stop asking why Leo and Kate Winslet never got together. She was just too damn old.
